Yes you can cast thru your phone or tablet.

Yes. You can find it in SmartCast. I haven’t logged on there yet but I plan on it soon.

We've recently begun rolling out an update that has added the YouTube app to this display. Once the firmware update is made available to for your display it will be downloaded automatically, after the update is installed, you'll have the YouTube app. In the meantime, You can also 'Cast' the youtube app from a phone or tablet. This means you can browse for the content you'd like to watch on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet, and then press the 'Cast' icon to send the video to play on the E50-E1.
