The 2016 did. The new one uses a standard remote

The 2016 model came with a tablet, but Vizio was receiving too many complaints about it that they decided to remove it from the 2017 model. However, if you have a smartphone or tablet, all you have to do is download the Vizio Smartcast app and you'll be able to control the TV that way.
