Update your tv. HDMI 1 is your only option for HDR content. You’ll also need to go into Settings and find the Enable HDR on TV option. Google will give you a walkthrough on how to do it.

Make sure the device you're using is capable of HDR. As an example, many older cable boxes don't support HDR content. You can check with the device manufacturer for HDR support. 3. Make sure the content you're viewing is in HDR. As an example, not everything on Netflix is available in HDR. Try a title like 'Stranger Things' that was filmed in HDR. 4. In some cases you may need to make sure you're paying for the HDR version of the app or show. When you purchase titles on a service like VUDU, there are HDR & Non-HDR options when you purchase or rent the content. 5. If you are using a device connected with HDMI, make sure you've turned on Full UHD Color. To do this, go into the menu, choose the 'Inputs' option (may be called 'Devices' on some models), and then change Full UHD Color to 'ON'.
