“The description says Homekit may not be available during purchase. Can anyone confirm if this model already has Apple Homekit support? Either out of the box or if the firmware is already available to add support.”

I just got mine delivered today, and it went through an update as part of the initial setup process and so far there is no support for HomeKit as well as no Apple TV app to watch Apple TV+ on.
