“Will this TV display a static picture from a pic file (jpeg or other) through USB input continuously without turning off or going into sleep mode? Looking at this TV to display a picture continuously 24 hours a day - will this work for that??”

Hello LemmyK, this TV does have the ability to show a picture file from a USB drive. There unfortunately is not a looping option, but I would recommend to open the file and ensure that the TV's sleep timers and modes are turned off.
