Yes, but it varies by individual unit. Thankfully, Best Buy makes it easy to exchange if the variation is unacceptable. Clouding, low-luminosity/non-functioning LEDs, poor audio isolation were/are also present. (Also, my replacement unit looks like someone placed a clamp on one of the screen corners.) I'm going to try one more time, and then switch to Sony's X900E or X900F if I can't get lucky on the 3rd shot. Again, as much as I'm frustrated with Vizio's uneven build quality, I'm in love with Best Buy's assistance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've the 55" for almost 2 weeks watching 4-6 hours a day streaming and haven't noticed any banding. The picture is really excellent and i just calibrated it today and it's even more detailed. It would be hard to go wrong with this for the price, if I was going to spend another 5-700$ I may have gone with the sony 900f but I'm happy what I got for the price, once again amazing picture and colors on this set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have experienced this is well, and I am going in for my 2nd exchange- about to give up. Although the more bothersome issue is that my right side of my screen is noticeable darker in low light and no light viewing

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Multiple issues here. Tech support is a joke. This tv was a waste of money. Screen freezes. Never ending reboot cycles. Just wont turn on sometimes.
