This will depend on what movie or TV show you are watching, and also the device that you are using to watch it. Most popular apps like Amazon and Netflix already have the best aspects set for each title, so they are not able to be adjusted. If watching something through an antenna or cable box, you can typically adjust those aspects by going to Menu > Picture > Picture Aspect.
