Poor and "not really." The menu does have an adjustable equalizer but the built-in speakers produce low quality sound (not crackly or anything; you'd have to hear it to know what I mean.) I would definitely recommend audio be output through a receiver or stereo with optical or RCA inputs if you are looking for any measure of bass.
