• Yes amazon app is on the tv, you do need a subscription to amazon prime to be able to use, just like netflix

• The retailer of the TV does not have any say on what apps are installed with it. Even if they did, once you brought it home you could download new firmware to change it. I bought my M60-C3 at Bestbuy and it included the Amazon Video app.
