Bought this one month ago (Jan 23)...
This 4k Smart TV is great. Obviously a great picture but a great look (frame/legs) as well. Good sound. The remote has a full keyboard on the backside, extremely helpful for YouTube, Netflix, etc. On the front side of the remote the Apps Hub is easily accessible via a large Vizio "V" button. Select apps such as Netflix, Amazon, and iHeartRadio have their own buttons on the remote as well. TV has 5 HDMI inputs.
Two things of note... This TV does not have a web browser. Secondly, the TV uses two legs - one at each end - instead of the more traditional one in the center (could come into play if searching for stands).

After two months of use, we are happy. Features that I like include: faster wireless 802.11 ac, the remote has a built-in keyboard on the back and has hard buttons to three apps (Amazon Prime Netflix iHeart Radio), it has five HDMI input ports, and the picture quality is amazing. Features I wish it had: an SD card slot for photos, more USB ports, better sound, and advanced networking features like DLNA. We have had no problems at this time. Initial setup was straightforward, and have had no connectivity issues.

I had a vizio prior to this one and really like the company. This tv is great, I use it more for gaming and what a difference it makes. The quality of picture and sound is superb, I haven't even hooked up my sound board to it and it is great. The only problem is that the side buttons got stuck a few days later and I had never touched them prior to the tv shuffling through the the menu. It is something that happened to the old vizio too. It is under warranty and Best Buy will come to my house to fix it if it becomes a problem. All in all it is an amazing piece of equipment and I would strongly recommend it. The price compared to Sony or lg is far better.

The Vizio 60" 4k smart tv is terrific. It was easy to setup and connect my various inputs. While the internal speakers are ok the sound is terrific with my Bose system hooked in. The built in internet access worked right out of the box with no problems.

Good value 4k TV compared to others on the market at this time. Indistinguishable vs the top brands. Good price now, but would expect to get cheaper as more 4k content hits the market

I have recently had headaches regarding 4k tvs. I've bought both Sony and Samsung, and have been clouded by a host of issues, from flashlighting, freezing, juddering, dead pixels, ect. So finally after the umpteenth time, I get a hold of a Best Buy employee who isn't simply in it for a sale. He understood my complaints, asked if I ever tried Vizio. I stated no. Because generally we try to stick with what we are familiar with. But after running the features by me. 240 htz. full array back lighting, 5 hdmi, and 60 inches at the price. Well, I was coming around. So I dove in, because what did I have to lose, that I haven't already with better known brands. And in all honesty I'm extremely glad I did. You may want a roku with this. But I bought this for the picture. Mind you, it's not going to be excellent out of the box. Your best bet is to get a calibration disc. And some people knock the upscaling. I have a ps4 and ps3 connected. And I've been playing with my ps3 more so than my ps4 lately, because the games look that good. Grant it there are better sets out there. But at the price and size. Well, I'm glad I was pointed in this direction.

Wasn't sure about newer vizio products when and I bought my 60" flat screen on black Friday 2009 and it has thousands of hours as Im disabled and watch tv nearly 24-7 and I just upgrades only to have all newer updates and features and my old one is in 100% working order and nephew and family now have as I gave it to them and he is happy! I was going to go with Samsung as that is what salesman at best buy was pushing and 4 the $700.00 difference in price (Samsung being higher $700) I said no way I've been so happy with my vizio and NO issues I can only hope this holds up just as much as old one!

I love this TV more than I thought I would; my previous TV was only two years old, but only a 40", so going to this 60" Ultra Hi Def TV is a huge change! The picture is awesome (4K content is from Netflix) -- and normal broadcast TV is superb, even better now that I have my new TiVo Bolt connected to it! I'm wishing now that I'd maybe gotten the 65" but then I would probably say that I should have gotten the 70", etc. I am very content with my purchase.

Great value for the product and the sales staff was very helpful. I've owned Vizio televisions for years without a problem and this one is going strong. The 4K is outstanding and the screen is huge!

The TV is very nice and the picture quality was great. After less than 3 week use a large 3 inch wide vertical strip appeared on the left side and half the screen had a whiteish tint to it. I called Vizio and they replaced the TV for free under warranty, but this TV should last years not hours.

I was looking to upgrade my living room TV. I wanted something awesome. I came across Vizio. This tv is awesome for a great price. I was also looking at the 55inch curve 4K by Samsung for the same price. I was not impressed by the curve design. This TV has everything you need picture perfect if not better than the other manufacturers. Gaming and movie watching is top of the line. Netflix in 4K is great. If you're looking for a reasonably priced tv you can't go wrong with this Vizio 4K M60-C3 series.

Bought this TV for the kids for Xbox and video streaming. Have now watched Netflix 4K, Netflix 1080, streamed ESPN off an Apple TV unit at 1080 (all of which are compressed signals), and standard def off a Nintendo Wii. Except for the picture on the Wii at standard def, the picture is very impressive for a 4K TV in this price range. Upscalong of 1080 streams is surprisingly good. The 4K Netflix stream was outstanding (we have 105MB Comcast Internet, so lag was never an issue). Contrast and saturation are excellent. Sound quality is good to very good. The user interface is easy to use. The built in wi-if can use either a 2.5 or a 5.0 Ghz channel, so if you have a router with a 5.0 channel you will get an excellent connection to the router with little interference. We attached a receiver with ARC and it instantly recognized the receiver and properly played the audio back to the receiver from the TV.
While this TV won't compete against the high end Sony and Samsung models, it isn't trying to. It doesn't do HDR and if I remember correctly, won't stream the YouTube 4K video codec (but presumably will do 1080 streams), but it does everything else quite well.
For the money, this is an exceptionally good value, and is highly recommeneded if you are not going for the $8-10,000 4K TV's.

This is a great budget 4K TV with very good picture quality and settings. The remote is super nice with the keyboard on the back, which makes typing things in way easier. The smart TV functionality gets out of your way and doesn't slow you down. I also love how many HDMI ports this has, no more having to switch out cables when playing a different console like I did with my last TV. Super solid buy!

All I can say is "Wow". Finally decided to treat myself to an TV upgrade. It was well worth the research and wait. 4K is the way to go if you are discerning about perfect visuals. OMG, my Blu-ray disks seem so much more clearer and beautiful. Only have owed it a couple days now, but can't wait to get home after work each day to watch TV. Love the instant access to Netflix, Amazon and other internet based program choices. You will not be disappointed!

This is my first 4K TV and my first Vizio product. I purchased it based on many reviews which rated the Vizio M series highly for its excellent picture at a value price. I have used it for about 6 weeks now and I am very happy with it. The picture quality is very good. It is simple to setup and use and the price is unbeatable for a TV with outstanding up-scaling performance and 240 Hz refresh rate. If you are feeling adventurous there are a zillion picture adjustments you can make but the out of the box presets work OK too. Rtings.com has a good set of calibration adjustments to begin with. The CPU has plenty of horsepower and the TV has enough HDMI ports for just about any situation. The built in apps are OK (but I still like my Chromecast dongle better). If you absolutely have to have the best, the top end Samsung and Sony are slightly better but except to pay significantly more for that performance. I am very happy with this purchase.

Like with any Vizio TV, you get a lot of value for your money. This set has excellent picture quality. Colors pop, the picture is nice and bright, and blacks are deep. The upscaling engine does a great job and 1080p content looks fantastic on this tv whether you're watching a blu-ray or streaming HD Netflix.
Here are my only negatives for this tv:
1. Narrow viewing angle. Once you start drifting off to the sides, the picture quickly starts to lose saturation.
2. Turning off the "soap opera effect." If you hate the smooth motion effect as much as I do you have to do three things: Turn "Reduce Judder" down to zero, "Reduce Motion Blur" down to zero, and turn "Game Low Latency" on. The last one is key. I believe there's a bug in the TV's firmware because you should only have to mess with the first two settings I mentioned.
3. Really wide base. That legs that hold the tv up are set really wide. This won't be a con for most but I had to re-adjust my home theater set-up because of it.
Bonus: The remote for this TV has a qwerty keyboard on the back which will make using the built-in apps much easier if you don't already have a streaming box you plan to use.
This TV is also on the approved list of 4k-ready TVs for Netflix though I haven't tried to stream in Ultra HD yet.

Pros: 4k resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, value price
Cons: needs a fair amount of adjustment for a correct picture, motion smoothing is not as good as several years old Samsungs, slow and crash-prone smart apps, Vizio's Orwellian "Smart Interactivity"
First things first, go into the menu, select System, select Reset & Admin, and turn Smart Interactivity off, unless you would rather have your TV monitor you and send your information to undisclosed partners.
Now onto the review. I've had this TV for over a month and I'm thoroughly happy with this set. The picture is great, although requires quite a bit of tweaking. However, just Google "Vizio M series calibration" and you will be set. I play a lot of games myself, and since most of them run at 30fps on consoles, I use a TV's motion smoothing to fake 60fps. This TV does smooth well, however it is not quite as good as my 4 year old Samsung. Make sure you do not plug your HDMI cable into the 4k input as the other inputs have better video processing. This may not matter to you if you don't care about the "soap opera effect". Another bonus is that Vizio sets have some of the lowest input delay out there, so if you play competitively, make sure to turn on Game mode on (not the "Game" picture preset). This also turns the smoothing off and is an easy switch when you want to watch movies or TV shows. I have yet to use the 4k picture itself as I have only an above-average internet speed for my area (curse you ISP monopolies!), however going by professional reviews on cNet this set is actually great in 4k as well. I've only used the smart apps a handful of times and unfortunately they are practically unusable. This is not a problem if you have other devices that can stream, so it's not a true negative in my opinion. Overall it's the best TV you can get for the price, and a good way to future-proof your purchase.
