• Unfortunately you cannot use your harmony remote. Only a Android device.

• We only use our Dish remote. We did not download the phone app. We have no problems.

• Doubtful, but most of the settings you need could possibly work. My Time Warner remote activates about 75% of what I need for daily usages.

Because of this, a smart device would need to be used to access the VIZIO SmartCast™ Remote app. This also means that any VIZIO SmartCast™ device can be controlled using most smartphones and tablets. -Randal
