“What is the actual refresh rate of this TV? Is it actually 240 or 120? I understand it has a "effective refresh rate" of 240. Best buy says its 240 but Cnet states 120.”

• The actual refresh rate is 120 Hz. With software enhancements, they claim an "effective 240 Hz". The rule with ANY TV company is that if they quality the number, the actual rate is half. Most sets from all companies are 60 Hz.

• The true refresh rate is 120Hz. The effective refresh rate is after the TV applies it's technique to increase the rate to the stated amount.
