“Why does it say 1080 at the top of the screen instead of 2160 when the tv turns on?”

• It must be the content you are watching is only 1080 not in 4K , unless you're watching a 4k blu ray movie.

• The display is only capable of showing the resolution it is receiving from devices or content. This display up-scales all 720p and 1080p content to 2160p through a spatial scaling engine but the resolution showing at the top of the screen is what the display is currently receiving from the source device or streaming service.
