“Does this tv allow in the audio output settings pcm-stereo? I’m using a 2.1 system and can’t have Dolby dts or 5.1 over the optical cable it will cause pure static so I need to have have Stereo output selected is this an option in the audio out settings”

Yes, the options for digital audio out are... Auto, PCM, Dolby digital, and Bitstream. This tv is made to work with just about every application or setup you can imagine. So far I've yet to find a limitation of this tv!
