• Yes But remember you can cast from pretty much anything, including your phone. I do frequently, but I usually use my phone becuase it alway seems to be close by.

• It would work with the tablet that came with the 2016 P-Series. The tablet was designed for Vizio but powered by Android. So it would be able to be paired with the SmartCast app and you would be able to cast apps from it just fine.
