• No, the leg stands are not able to be set any wider.

• The tv can be raised up by lowering the legs to alow sound bar to sit on the pads of the legs

• I have a long Sony soundbar. It is longer than legs. However, legs are adjustable higher so my soundbar sits on legs comfortably & is able to slide underneath screen a little. Actually think this setup improves sound & helps with air circulation around soundbar. If you look @ manufacturer pictures then it shows this same setup in some drawings about stand. Good TV.
