• The all-new VIZIO SmartCast™M70-D3 comes with a standard remote and a 6 inch Android tablet remote. The Android Tablet remote control would require internet connection to make use of the all-new VIZIO SmartCast™ technology. Thanks- Jesse

• The Tv doesn't have a over the air TV receiver. So you will need cable, satellite or buy a tv optional TV receiver. You do not have to use the internet it comes with a 6" android tablet and a simple remote. To get the most out of the tv you will want to use the internet to update the tvs fireware and stream media.
