Can you just use a digital antenna null

Yes, antenna for local over the air channels can be used with this TV.

If you are referring to broadcast TV, the answer is Yes. However it will not pick up the TV guide that many other TVs will. Given that my previous TV, a TCL from China can pick up a US TV guide, this is simply a case of Vizio not caring about the customer experience enough to implement such a simple feature.
