60" version will work better in Low light. The 55 is a IPS, the 60 is a VA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We purchased this TV (65") and it is in my family room that gets tremendous sun in the evening (through the sliding doors). I haven't noticed any problems viewing the picture when the sun is shining in through the doors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Vizio P series is so bright, I cannot watch it in a dimly lit room. I have to turn on the lights. I do not this there will be an issue with a bright room with a P series set. Vizio did do a good job of illumination the screen on these tv's, I would only consider the size of the TV when it comes to the size of the room you are placing the TV in. Smaller room, smaller TV, bigger room, BIG tv ....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No TV performs very well in a room with lots of windows for one reason....glare. Most LED tvs have a plastic screen which cuts down on most of the glare. The older plasma sets were glass and were horrible with reflecting the windows. The size of the screen will not make a difference, so go with your preference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.People usually say that LED tvs are better for bright rooms. This Vizio LED tv looks great in our bright living room. If you get the best plasma on the market, you would not have to worry-but you would have to spend a lot more typically to have it look better than LED. If you watch tv primarily in the evening, it doesn't matter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They are led tvs, so both should be fine for rooms with a lot of light. Plasma is the one to avoid in bright rooms. The 60 will have better black levels, but that benefit is lessened in a bright room.
