“Just purchased this model, the only LED readout is on the remote, not the sound bar. that's ok, but the readout is very dim on the remote. Any way to make it brighter and more legible?”

Unfortunately, no. I wish it had backlight. Once it's hooked to the tv, I have only used it when I was going to Bluetooth to play music...so it really hasn't been an issue. The tv remote controls the sound bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like a connection or product malfunction. My sound bar connected easily, but you MUST connect it to the correct HDMI (ARC) port on your TV. As you increase the volume, the lights on left side of sound bar will raise/increase. ( bottom to top ).
