• The T.V. must be compatible as it's own device to be controlled with the Home.

• You need to add the tv as a smart device to Google Home app if it is compatible. You could also purchase one of the Logitech harmony hubs on sale, connect hub to Google home app, then you can control tv through harmony hub. What functions are you trying to do on your TV? Aside from limited ARC functions, the sound bar cannot really control the tv.

• Wouldn't your home mini need to "see" the tv? The soundbar can control a tv through hdmi arc, but to have a home mini see the soundbar, control the soundbar, then control the soundbar through hdmi arc...I think you should be more realistic about your expectations from the google home products.
