“Is there a way for the subwoofer and satellite speakers to turn on when you turn on the sound bar using the remote the system came with? I have to manually flip the switch behind the subwoofer each time I turn on the sound bar.”

On your remote, press the menu button and then the up or down buttons on the keypad to navigate to the item that says "Link" on your screen. Then click the left or right arrow to make it say "yes", then press the play button. The subwoofer should then be linked and will turn on and off as you turn the soundbar on and off.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Pewee, my soundbar turns on instantly when the volume up key on the remote is pressed while aiming at the soundbar. It sounds like the automatic pairing function on your soundbar / subwoofer is experiencing some type of technical issue. I would imagine that this would be covered under warranty. I'd bring it back to your local best buy and ask for an exchange / RMA.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly, I have an all Vizio, tv set up. I use the Vizio tv remote, which if set up correctly, seems to turn everything on. Make sure you've set up BLUETOOTH, from tv to sound bar system. Don't forget to PAIR the subwoofer, to soundbar. I only use the remote for soundbar system, when wanting to turn down soundbar system only. Leaving the tv volume alone. Hope this helps.
