• Hello PapaRon! Once the headphones are plugged into the Roku remote headphone jack, the sound originating from the TV will stop and stream through the headphones. If you would like multiple private listeners, such as you and your wife, check out the private listening feature available on the Roku mobile app. Instead of using the Roku remote headphone jack, you would instead use any Bluetooth headphones connected to your smartphone. • No. My son plugs the headphones in and the TV becomes silent to everyone but him. There possibly could be a setting where you can have it at on both I haven't looked yet.
