A:Answer The base comes in two pieces, separate from the tower fan itself. You just have to snap the two base pieces together and then attach the tower to the base with 6 or 8 provided screws. There is an alignment feature that makes it almost impossible to get this wrong. You do also have to take care that the cord attached to the tower is properly fed through the hole in the assembled base and, following assembly, guided out of the side of the base. Only tool you need is a medium Phillips screwdriver.
