A:Answer I'm not mechanically savvy enough to picture exactly the method you are proposing, but after my new door parts kit was installed, we had no trouble installing a new upgraded security system that enables alarming both doors with my key remote. As soon as I turn my vehicle on and put my foot on the brake pedal, all the doors lock. If I want to step out while my vehicle is running, I can use the manual lock to unlock that door and the other doors stay locked. When I step out and close all the doors, I can lock it up/enable the security system using my key remote.
