“When using a modem connection, does the base or one of the companion phones still need a phonejack”

• Sandy - Only the telephone base of the VTech IS8151-4 requires connection to the modem/telephone jack. The small chargers only require connection to AC power as the cordless handsets are registered wirelessly to the telephone base. Thank you, -VTech Support
