“Does this system work without a landline, with only with a cell connection? That is, can I replace a landline with this system and use it to make calls through my cellular phone? Will It let me answer calls to my cellular phone? Thanks”

Hi - Yes, the Bluetooth feature of the VTech IS8151-4 will still work even without a landline service. You will be able to use the handsets to make and receive cellular calls. Please note that the Bluetooth has a short range, and you must keep the cellphone near the base for optimum performance. Thank you, -VTech Support
