• Hi - Yes, the telephone base and the cordless handsets of the VTech IS8151-4 have speakerphone feature. You can use the speakerphone on the telephone base without picking up the cordless handset. On the other hand, the speakerphone of the cordless handset will only function if it is not cradle on the charger/telephone base. Thank you, -VTech Support
