TJ - Yes, the listening volume of the VTech IS8151-5 is adjustable. The cordless handset earpiece and the speakerphone volume setting can be set from 1 to 6 and speakerphone. And the telephone base's speakerphone volume setting is from level 1 to 8. To adjust the listening volume of the cordless handset while you are on a call, press the ▲VOLUME▼. Press the +VOL- on the telephone base to adjust its speakerphone setting while on a call. Please be advised that the listening volume of the cordless handset and telephone base are independent in each unit. Thank you! -VTech Support
