• Hi - The cordless handsets of the VTech IS8151-5 does not beep when placed on chargers. Instead, the charge light will turn on, indicating that the handset is charging properly. The intercom and PTT are separate features. Intercom can be used to call a single handset in the system, while the PTT is a feature that will enable you to broadcast a message to multiple handsets.
