“I only have the camera. Is it pretty much useless, since I have no parent unit? .......other than being a nightlight lol!”

There was no answer to my question. What good does that do me? They only stated the obvious about a product I have and didn't even touch the question.

Monitor is parent unit since it can be carried with you.Camera shows every move and sound.Sensitivity can be set.
