“In the instructions ( parent unit overview) why does it show a microphone "9" if there is no way to access it?”

• I have same question. The answer given to first person that asked is not correct. There is a microphone AND a speaker on the parent unit, yet instructions provide no explanation for the mic on the parent unit, as there is no two-way communication function between parent unit and baby unit. Maybe the mic is there for models that have two way talk function?
