“I have a CM18445 4-line phone system. Right now I have 1 phone line, with call waiting. Does this phone work with call waiting? Currently if i am on the phone, and another call comes in, it rings busy.”

If you have call waiting but secondary callers are getting busy signals, you need to contact your service provider. Chances are it hasn't been activated. As far as your question is concerned, Yes, this is covered in the manual "Operation Options while on calls Call waiting If you subscribe to call waiting service with your telephone service provider, and someone calls while you are in the middle of a call, you hear two beeps. • Press FLASH to put your current call on hold and take the new call. Press FLASH at any time to switch back and forth • between calls."
