“Will this model work with my current 5.8 digital system (model: 6727)? I currently have the "base" and one extension phone running on the 5.8 version... if my new extension is the 6.0, will it work?? Thanks.”

John - CS5109 is the compatible accessory handset for CS5119 and CS5129 series base systems. You cannot add handsets to the i6727.
