I chose this phone due to it's many features. I especially liked the intercom feature to use between the phones throughout the house. The only two snags I could find are: (1) the volume setting does not reach a high enough level to hear really well with background noise like music or television and (2) there is no internal answering machine...user must subscribe with their landline carrier for messages, or install a separate answering machine. In this case, keeping an old combo phone/answering machine installed worked fine with no additional expenditure. Overall, this is still a great phone for the price.

This an inexpensive system of portable telephones, that can be used throughout your house. It is also nice that you can buy another one to place in a different room, and it matches the system. This is not the top of the line...but for the money it is a good buy.

excellent sound and clarity, good value and easy set up

I have used a V-tech phone before. The last one died after 10 years. Of course, I bought another one. I'm satisfied.

I bought this as an added handset and it paired easily with a non-VTech base station.

I don't use the home phone much but it's compact and does the job and I like how it came in red

must have the original handset. the overall appearance and back light is nice. It has clear reception and is small enough that it does not take up a lot of space any where it is located

I have been using this brand of phone for over 10 years. I decided to purchase the same type again just one that I could expand and add extra phones to other rooms and my home. They have Crystal Clear sound quality very easy to set up very easy to use love this brand.

Had others just needed another 1. I was worried about connecting it but it was very easy

Had to buy all new phones after my old one pooped out. Previously had a Vtech set of phones, but if one phone goes out, you need to buy another full set. Could not find a replacement battery for them that fit the phone, even after taking the battery to the store. Phones are decent. Never really need to use it much because of cell phones. But I need a land line on each floor of my home, and in the garage. So worth it...

I bought this as an 'accessory handset' to the base VTECH CS6919 model that came with just the one handset. I had never purchased a VTECH product before and wanted to see how it worked before expanding. I also liked the fact that the base model was expandable up to 5 handsets. I have been extremely pleased with the product so I bought this additional 'accessory' handset. It works great, range is very good, clarity and tone is great as well. It also does not interfer with other cordless phones in the house. I have been very happy with this VTECH phone system and would recommend it. I will be purchasing. additional handsets as my need for expansion warrants.

needed a home phone because we STILL have a landline. Simple setup and works great. No interference with google wifi system. great solution with only one needed phone jack and multiple units attached.

The phones work well and meet our needs. They are lighter than our old set and easy to hold.

Needed a second handset for the original base and was easy to match and has worked well.

I have had this system for little over 1 month and it works great. This extra handset was easy to set up with main phone. If I need in future I can buy 2 more handsets to add to phone system.

I needed an expandable cordless phone system with an intercom and this one fit the bill. Programming the additional handsets to the main base was easy and the intercom works great.

I purchased the base unit and have five handsets. Easy registration of the extra handsets. Nice speed calling feature by typing the directory entry name. Love the intercom feature
