Kay - You can turn off the ringer on on your cordless handset, by following the steps below: 1. Press MENU when the handset is not in use. 2. Press ▼ or ▲ to choose Ringers and then press SELECT twice. 3. Press ▼ or ▲ to sample each ringer volume level. 4. Press SELECT to save. You hear a confirmation tone. You can also temporarily silence the ringer of the handset and telephone base by pressing the OFF or MUTE on the handset while the telephone is ringing. Hope this helps! Thank you, -VTech Support
