QuestionI see that there is a feature for the intercom. How do I set it up? When I press intercom, I get a message "intercom to...". What do I press next? Will this feature allow me to talk to someone on the other cordless phone or the home base?

- Answer Linda - When you see INTERCOM TO, press 1 or 2 (which corresponds to Handsets 1 and 2); or, if you want to intercom the base from a handset, press 7.

QuestionDoes this phone have two lines?I looked at the picture but i don't see a button for Line 1 and Line 2, so I wasn't sure how you can choose which line to answer

- Answer CS6649-2 is a one line phone. VTech DS6151 is a two line phone.

QuestionCan you set up specific numbers to be blocked?We are bombarded daily with the same callers and they do not leave a message. It would be a great feature to have call-blocking. If this model doesn't have this capability do you have a model that does?

QuestionCallers can't hear me but I can hear them. Callers also can't hear the recorded message for voicemail but I can hear it when they call.

- Answer You can add additional cordless handsets, up to a maximum of 5. The compatible accessory handset is model CS6609.

QuestionHow can the phone be used as wall mount when the receiver falls off as soon as it's more vertical? There is no mechanism to hold the receiver on or in the base. Falls Right off.

- Answer There is a handset tab, located in the cradle, which needs to be adjusted when the base is wall mounted. That is why your receiver is falling. Look above the plunger in the cradle for the handset tab.
