Base unit OK. Extra phone not working. I charged and am using the base unit upstairs in my office. But, in the downstairs kitchen the second phone does not work. Everything is charged etc. I pressed the "find handset", but for some reason this does not work. Any help is appreciated.

Does the second phone operate upstairs at all? Once I had plugged the phone I had downstairs into an electrical outlet that could be turned off with a switch on the wall. It took a little bit when I was trouble shooting before I realized why the phone downstairs was not working. Also, an electrician once told me there can be "dead zones" in some houses. I hope things work out for you.
