Dobie - You can connect two VTech DS6151 on the same line but they will work as a stand alone phones. They will not communicate with each other. You can turn off the answering system on one of the main bases so they will not interfere with each other. Only one answering system can be used at a time. We recommend that you get one DS6151 and 1 DS6101 accessory cordless handset for the other office. The main base can accommodate up to 12 cordless handsets. Thank you! - VTech Support
