- Answer No, That is only if you want to add memory and transfer to a computer using the usb.

QuestionWhat is the actual size of the VTech - KidiZoom Camera Pix... what are its dimensions?

- Answer It's about 5 inches across the top and bottom to top is about 3 inches. This camera is great for preschoolers and I would say up through maybe 3 or 4 th grade depending on the child. The ends or the handles lets them hold it very securely the weight and dependability is excellent. My granddaughter had one and she loves it so much I bought one for my grandson. P.S. The first one we purchased came with buttons that didn't work......We had the computer receipt took it back to Best Buy and they took care of getting us a new one with no hassle whatsoever.
