Yes! The monitor will vibrate when motion or sound is sensed.

Rich - The VTech VM4261 does not have motion sensor but it does have VOX sound sensitivity. The parent unit turns on when there's a sound coming from the baby unit. This setting can be programmed. Thank you, -VTech Support
