Buckey - We are sorry if you are having issues registering your headset. Here's the complete instructions on how to register your headset: Step 1: Press and hold FIND HANDSET on the telephone base for about four seconds until the red IN USE light turns on. Step 2: Place the headset on the headset charger. It takes about 60 seconds to complete the registration. The red IN USE light on the telephone base will turn off and the ON/OFF light on the headset turns red when it is registered and charged. Step 3: Lift the headset and press the ON/OFF key on the headset. If you hear a dial tone, the registration was successful. Hope this helps! -VTech Support
