• I bought one for my HP 17inch. Couldn't get it to write, went back to Best Buy and they determined the pen was defective. So the pens can be defective.

• I've had mine for several weeks and it works fine; could be that you need to pair it to your device once again.

• Hold down the two minus bottoms to restart it so it can connect to your device, make sure Bluetooth is connected
