“I recently bought HP eny x360 and bamboo ink. they said it is compatible however when i tried using it does not pair. is there a program that i need to install first?”

There are 2 protocols for the pen and it sounds like your device doesn't use the default. On our Envy, we had to do this. Simply hold down both sides of the button on the side of the pen for 2 seconds and it will blink twice and change to the other mode. Then it should pair. Good luck! It is a great digitizer. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm an observer of other's work on the pairing of the Bamboo ink to that of the HP eny. According to what I know, you need to follow the instructions on the website or the booklet that comes with the Stylus to initiate the pair up. I've observed that you really need to pay attention to the little blue light on the pen to actually know when it's paired up as stated on the computer. I hope that helps a little. Btw, if the website is indicated on the booklet as step 1.
