I have an HP Spectre X360 13-4196ms, and was hoping this would work, but it DOES NOT work with my laptop either. Of course, it pairs fine with Bluetooth and the button works, but it does not write anything. I'm very disappointed that it does not support my top of the line laptop from 2016.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think you have the 1st gen Spectre X360 that uses the Synaptics protocol (which Bamboo Ink won't work with), before HP switched to N-Trig to their 2017 models (which the Bamboo Ink will work with).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just purchased an HP Envy X360. It pairs with my bluetooth, and the buttons open the menus, but that is about it. Does not recognize the stylist at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the HP spectre x360 special edition and ran into the same problem. Never fear I did find a solution :) After you have your Bamboo paired hold your right and left button down on it for two seconds and you will see a tiny LED light behind the button (NOT the LED under the end! the one under the buttons near the tip) ok again hold BOTH buttons near the tip for 2 sec and when you let go you will see the light blink 2x that means it is on the setting you want. If it blinks once then it is still on the wrong setting. In any case thre are only 2 settings so its not hard to figure out. Blinks once or blinks twice just try it on both and TADA fixed

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Recently encountered a similar issue with the Wacom Bamboo Stylus and Window 10 (1803 OS Build) where I can use the pen to draw (paint 3D, Paint, etc.) but unable to write in any applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel). Solution: Navigate to the System Tray (lower right hand corner of Windows Desktop) | Select the Inking pen icon | at the bottom of the screen select Pen & Windows Ink Settings. The Pen & Windows Ink screen will display. Under the section that says "When I tap a text field with my pen, use handwriting to input text", change the setting to "Only in tablet mode" and place a check mark in the box next to "Write in the handwriting panel with your fingertip". Exit out of the screen and launch MS Word or other program that requires writing or input. Click on the Keyboard icon (note: you have to be in tablet mode), change the keyboard input to the writing pad and write in the space; Windows should recognize your input.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only works for Samsung devices with S-pen connectivity.
