I would make sure it is connected with the envy x360. There were instructions with the device on how to connect it to the laptop and I would start there. Also does your envy support stylus? I know some of the models don't support it, and most of the envys that do came with a stylus. So you might need to check with HP. Since it has to have the right panel to be able to use the stylus.
