A:Answer In theory the Wacom Bamboo Spark would perform that function, but converting the text and getting it into Word is a multi-step process which I found to be only partially successful. Also, the Spark would frequently forget what page I was on and would start a new page when I turned it on, or sometimes randomly mid-paragraph. If you don't mind the cleanup, then it would probably do the job, but personally I would wait until you can get one for less than $50.
