• They're pretty large for beard trimming, but it could be done if you don't rush. Wahl does make a smaller pair of trimmers specifically for fine work, like beard trimming.

• These Extreme Grip Pro clippers can trim a beard. They are fairly large for it though. Wahl recommends using a smaller trimmer like the 9818-5001 Lithium Ion beard trimmer or the 9899 Aqua Blade trimmer.
