As stated in the Prop 65 Warning for our MDF products, “The State of California’s Health and Safety Code Section 25249.6, et seq., commonly known as Prop. 65, requires products to be labeled if any of over 800 chemicals are present even in trace amounts. WARNING: This product contains chemicals or substances, including wood dust and phthalates, known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Drilling, sawing, sanding, or machining wood products generates wood dust.” Hopefully that sheds more light on your question, thank you!
