No. It's not a Hassel thing either. Unless your needing to turn on and off. But if your going to use it make sure you turn it off before leaving the house or sleeping. Safety instructions says it's requires to do so for no issue or fire hazard may happen.

Hi Esha, None of our fireplace stands include a remote. But they do have separate switches for the flames and heat, so you can use one independently of the other if you'd like. Hope that helps.
